Harbour Wallbanger
Organised by Sporting Events UK in partnership with Thanet Roadrunners AC, Harbour Wallbanger is scheduled for 5 September 2026 with the venue listed as The Pavilion, 12 Harbour Street, Broadstairs CT10 1EU. The route starts on the beach at Broadstairs at low tide, runs to Ramsgate where participants "bang the Harbour Wall", and returns to Broadstairs.
The advertised distance is 7k. Advanced entry rates are shown as £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated entrants. On-the-day entry may be available subject to space at £30. Advanced entries are available until 1pm on the Wednesday before the event, and on-the-day entries may be accepted until 11:30am on the day, both subject to space.
Prizes are listed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, first male and female in VET40, VET50 and VET60 categories, plus first place male and female team prizes. A team prize requires three people and is open to clubs or groups whether affiliated or not.
Facilities at the venue include toilets but no changing facilities, a car park payable locally, and full refreshments on site. Organisers will provide a live results feed so finishing times are published shortly after crossing the line. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for entry is 15 years on the day.
