Harbour Wallbanger - Broadstairs and Ramsgate
The Harbour Wallbanger is a coastal running event organised by Sporting Events UK in partnership with Thanet Roadrunners AC. The course starts on the beach at Broadstairs at low tide, follows the shoreline to Ramsgate where participants run to the harbour wall, and then returns to Broadstairs.
The advertised distance is a 7k race. Entry options and fees are published: advanced entries for the 7k are £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated entrants; on-the-day entry may be available subject to space at £30. Advanced entries are available until 1pm on the Wednesday before the event, and on-the-day entries may be accepted until 11:30am on the day, both subject to space.
Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, VET40, VET50 and VET60 category winners, and first place male and female teams. A team prize requires three people and is open to any team or club, whether affiliated or an informal group of friends.
Facilities at the venue include toilets, a payable car park and on-site refreshments. There are no changing facilities at this location.
