Harbour Wallbanger

The event is a 7 km run. It is organized in partnership with Thanet Roadrunners AC.

The course starts on the beach at Broadstairs at low tide. Participants run to Ramsgate, touch the Harbour Wall, and then return to Broadstairs. This gives the event its name. It takes place in September.

There are individual prizes for the first three male and female finishers. There are also age category prizes for VET40, VET50, and VET60. A team prize is available for teams of three people, open to any group or club.

The venue, The Pavilion on Harbour Street in Broadstairs, has toilets and on-site refreshments. There is a car park, which requires local payment. There are no changing facilities.

Advanced entry fees are £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated runners. On-the-day entry is £30, subject to availability. Advanced entries close at 1:00 PM on the Wednesday before the event. The minimum age to participate is 15 years old.
