Faversham 10k
The Faversham 10 km race is scheduled for 27 September 2026 and is based at The Abbey School, London Road, Faversham, ME13 8RZ. The event has been a local fixture for over 20 years and joined the Sporting Events UK series in 2024. The race weekend includes a mini-event village and is close to the town centre with independent shops and cafés.
The course runs largely on quiet country lanes and scenic roads with a few notable climbs; one longer drag is reported around 2–3 km and a shorter, sharper climb appears around 8–9 km. Recent changes to the route include a new section through a housing estate and a bridleway that avoid busier main roads.
On-site facilities include toilets, a free car park and refreshments. Parking is reported as ample and the route is generally well signed with marshals positioned along the course. Wave starts have been used in past editions to manage runner flow.
Entry details: advanced entry fees are listed at £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated runners; on-the-day entry may be available for £30 subject to space and is noted as potentially available until 9:30am.
