Faversham 10k
The Faversham 10 km is a recurring road race held at The Abbey School, London Road, Faversham, ME13 8RZ. The event has been a local fixture for over 20 years and joined the Sporting Events UK programme in 2024, when entries sold out. It returns in 2026 with a mini event village at the venue.
Facilities listed at the venue include toilets, a free car park and refreshments. Advanced entry fees are shown as £24 for affiliated club members and £26 for unaffiliated runners. On the day entries may be possible subject to space and are listed at £30. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10k is 15 years on the day. On the day entries may be available until 9:30am on the day.
The course is described in participant feedback as running mainly on quiet country lanes with some hills and scenic sections. Recent route changes moved parts of the course off the main road and introduced quieter estate and bridleway sections. Marshals and route signage are reported to be present along the route.
