2026 Savin Rock Marathon & Half Marathon
The Savin Rock Marathon & Half Marathon takes place on March 28, 2026 at the Savin Rock Conference Center, 6 Rock St., West Haven, CT. The event offers two distances:

- Half Marathon
Course, timing and entry
The course begins with about 4 miles flat, then includes five hills over the next 5 miles, and finishes with a downhill and flat final 4 miles. The marathon consists of two loops of the half marathon course. About one third of the route runs along Long Island Sound. Aid stations are placed roughly every 2 miles beginning at Mile 2.5 and are stocked with Poland Spring Water and Gatorade Endurance. Porto-lets are located at Miles 4.5, 6.55, 13.1, 17.6 and 21.5. Transponder timing is used with splits at 6.55, 13.1, 19.65 and 26.2. The marathon is designated as the Road Runners Club of America Connecticut State Championship and is listed as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Time cutoffs are published for both distances; the half marathon cutoff is 4:30 hours (20 minutes per mile) and the marathon cutoff is 6:30 hours. An organized early start is available for marathoners planning a 5:30–6:30 finish range; other early starts are not permitted.
Entrant services, awards and fees
All entrants receive men's or women's cut short sleeve tech T-shirts. All finishers receive custom finisher medals with a choice of two designs. Finish-line provisions include Poland Spring Water, Gatorade Endurance, fresh bagels and bananas. Custom awards are given to the top three men and women overall and in 5-year age divisions from 15 to 80+. Awards are available at the awards table on race day; they are not shipped and there is no formal awards ceremony. Free downloadable race photos and finisher certificates are provided by Elite Feats. Registration fees vary by date: marathon fees range from $105 to $130 and half marathon fees range from $75 to $90. Transfers are allowed for a fee until the published transfer deadline.
