Event overview

Rocky at 50 Run takes place on 16 May 2026 at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU. The event is organised by Saturn Running and is run as a 7 hour Time Challenge. The minimum recorded distance to be an official finisher is 3km. A full lap is listed as 4.37 miles (7km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The course includes 3km and 5km turn points. Lap counts stated are 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon, and 7 or more for an ultra. A 50km distance is also available. Entry fees are shown in the range £18 to £35, and a member-only entry price of £23 is noted; membership guarantees entry and includes a mini-medal pin.

Course, facilities and race services

The route runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well-made paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable. Finishers who complete at least 3km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are issued for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50km and ultra distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. There is a goody bag option including a vegan goody bag. An aid and drinks table is available at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities at the venue are open from 8am. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines, TW18 4TP. Number pick-up is on the day at race registration and final instructions are emailed in the week before the event. Headphones are allowed. The event uses public footpaths.
