Event details
The Sloth Scamper is organised by Saturn Running and takes place on 14 March 2026 at The Last Hop, Unit 2, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU. The format is a 7-hour Time Challenge that lets participants choose how far to run within the time limit. Walkers are permitted. The £23.00 entry price noted in the event information is available only to members; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini pin medal at each event they attend.
Course, distances and facilities
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames, is fully signed, and is mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable. An aid table and drinks table are provided at the start/finish area of each lap with a selection of drinks and snacks, including vegan options. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive the event sloth medal. A standard goody bag is provided to finishers, with a vegan goody bag available on request. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue, and there is parking at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines, TW18 4TP. A non-secure bag drop area is available and headphones are allowed.
