Saturn Running Midweek Chasing Numbers Aug 2026
This is a seven hour Time Challenge held at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club beside the River Thames. Participants can choose how many laps to run on a signed loop; the minimum distance is 3 km and a full lap measures about 7 km or 4.37 miles, though the loop may change depending on course conditions. The route is roughly 60% on well-made path or tarmac and the remainder on grass and light trail. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes may be preferred on muddy sections.
The event provides turn points at 3 km and 5 km within the lap to meet UK Athletics age rules. The laps required are three for a half marathon, six for a marathon and seven or more for an ultra. A 50 km option is also available.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are issued for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra achievements and are attached to the medal ribbon. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid and drinks table is available at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
Facilities at the race HQ include toilets, changing and a cafe. There is an unmanned bag drop and a pay on exit carpark at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Members receive the lowest entry price which is ten pounds lower than full price, guaranteed entry and a mini-me medal pin for every event attended. Number pick up is on the day at race registration. Headphones are allowed and participants are asked to be considerate of other path users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
