Saturn Running Midweek Chasing Numbers Aug 2026

This is a seven hour Time Challenge organised by Saturn Running on a signed loop beside the River Thames. Participants can choose their own distance with a minimum of 3 km. A full lap is listed as 4.37 miles or 7 km but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The lap includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to support compliance with UK Athletics age rules. It is three laps for a half marathon, six laps for a marathon and seven or more laps for an ultra. A 50 km option is also available.

The course is fully signed and consists of approximately 60% well made path or tarmac and 40% grass and light trail that can get muddy at times. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes may help on the softer sections. The regular route may change pending health and safety review and council or land owner approval.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are awarded for half marathon, mega half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option. An aid table and drinks are provided at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. The Last Hop venue has toilets but no separate changing rooms or showers; downstairs toilets can be used for changing. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park in Staines TW18 4TP. Final race instructions are emailed in the week before the event and number pick up is on the day at race registration. There is an unsecured bag area at the start and finish.
