Event overview
Midweek Chasing Numbers is organised by Saturn Running at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham TW20 0AA on 1 May 2026. The event is a 7-hour Time Challenge that lets participants choose their distance. The minimum distance is 3 km. A full lap is 7 km (4.37 miles), though the route may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The lap includes 3k and 5k turn points to meet UK Athletics age rules. A member-only entry price of £20 is available; other entry tiers vary by distance.
Course, facilities and extras
The course runs alongside the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% is on a well-made path or tarmac, with the remainder on grass and light trail that can become muddy. Road shoes are acceptable year-round; trail shoes may be preferred for traction on trail sections. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan options. Completing one lap earns a finisher medal; distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer finishes. Finishers receive a goody bag, with a vegan goody bag option. Race HQ has toilets, changing facilities and a cafe. Bag drop is unmanned; car parking is available in a pay-on-exit carpark at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Headphones are allowed and the route uses public footpaths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
