Midweek Chasing Numbers : 1 May 2026
Midweek Chasing Numbers is a 7-hour Time Challenge event organised by Saturn Running at Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club, Riverside, Egham TW20 0AA on 1 May 2026. Entrants may choose their own distance with a minimum of 3 km. A full lap is stated as 7 km (4.37 miles) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. It is three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon, seven or more for an ultra, and a 50 km option is available. Members have a reduced entry price of £20 and are guaranteed entry and a mini medal pin; standard prices for listed distances range from £18 to £27.
Course, support and facilities
The course follows a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. About 60% is on a well-made path or tarmac and the remainder is grass and light trail that can get muddy. Road shoes are suitable year round; trail shoes may be preferred for grip on softer sections. The course layout may be altered after a health and safety review and final landowner approval. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets, changing facilities and a cafe are at race headquarters; an unmanned bag drop is available. A large pay-on-exit carpark is at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Headphones are allowed.
Medals, pins and participant notes
Completing one lap earns an official finisher medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon and longer distances (Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50 km, Ultra) and are attached to the medal ribbon. Walkers are permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
