SATURN TOO - Midweek Medal Madness Run August 2026
Saturn Too presents a midweek timed running event aimed at keeping entry costs low while giving participants control over their distance. The event is a 7 hour time challenge held at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club, Egham, with a maximum of 300 entrants and a minimum participant age of 12 years.
Distance format and key rules:
- Minimum distance 3 km, counted as part of a lap.
- Full lap 7 km (4.37 miles), may change to a 3.28 mile loop.
- 3k and 5k turn points within the lap for UK Athletics compliance.
- Half-marathon equals 3 laps; marathon equals 6 laps; ultra is 7 laps or more.
- A 50 km distance is available; over 45 km requires minimum age 20.
The course runs along the River Thames, is fully signed, and is mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round. The regular route may be adjusted after a health and safety review.
Finishers completing at least 3 km receive a themed medal and a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is offered. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon and longer distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. An aid table and drinks table are provided at the start/finish area for each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue. There is a pay on exit car park at Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Bag storage is provided but not secure.
