Track session and 5K sub-20 attempt
The Running Channel and HOKA will host a coached track session at the London Marathon Community Track in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Marshgate Lane, London E20 2AE. The session includes a coached workout led by The Running Channel team and an on-track attempt to run the 5K in under 20 minutes.
Attendees can try demo pairs of the HOKA Clifton Pro while stocks last, and a limited number of free HOKA T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Free refreshments and food will be provided on site.
Practical details include a bag drop that requires a £1 coin for locker use and on-site toilets and changing facilities. The venue can be reached from Stratford station, which is approximately a 20-minute walk, or from the DLR at Pudding Mill Lane, about a 5-minute walk; Hackney Wick is also around a 20-minute walk. There are 30 car park spaces next to the community track accessed via gate 2 at 1 Sidings Street, E20 2AE; parking is limited. If travelling by rental e-bike, note that parking near the venue is scarce and will add roughly a 15-minute walk to reach the track.
The event is in person at West Ham United Football Club, London Stadium. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
