Midweek Medal Madness Run August 2026 : Staines-upon-Thames

The event is a 7 hour Time Challenge that lets participants control their distance by completing laps of a measured course.

The minimum confirmed distance is 5 km. A full lap is listed as 4.37 miles (about 7 km) but may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. The organiser explains that three laps correspond to a half marathon, six to a marathon, and seven or more to an ultra.
The route follows a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section; road shoes are suitable. The course may be adjusted after a health and safety review.
Facilities and services at the race HQ include toilets, a bag drop (unstaffed; items left at the participant’s risk), and an aid table with vegan options.
