Midweek Medal Madness Run August 2026
The Midweek Medal Madness Run is a flexible time challenge event held at the Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club in Egham. Participants have a seven-hour window to complete their chosen distance, with the option to run or walk as many laps as they wish within the time limit.
The event takes place on a scenic loop along the River Thames. The course consists of approximately 60% tarmac or well-made paths, while the remaining 40% is grass and light trail. The route is fully signed, requiring no previous navigational experience. A standard lap is roughly 7 km (4.37 miles), though this may be adjusted to a 3.28 mile loop depending on local ground conditions.

A central aid station at the start and finish of each lap provides a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, including fruit, cheese, and vegan options. All participants who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag. Runners reaching milestones of a half marathon or further are also eligible for specific distance pins.
