SATURN - Strawberry Shortcake Scamper
The event is a seven hour time challenge held on a signed loop alongside a stretch of the River Thames in Staines. Participants choose how many laps to run within the seven hour limit; walkers are also welcome.
The surface is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section, and road shoes are suitable year round. The course includes a 3k turn point and a 5k turn point to help younger runners meet UK Athletics distance rules. Aid and drinks tables are available at the start/finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal and all finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon and longer achievements, including Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. Special event numbers with name and date can be provided for milestone events.
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue HQ throughout the event. Number collection takes place at on-site registration on event day. There is parking at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines, TW18 4TP. Headphones are allowed. The event limits entries to 300 and has a minimum age of 12 years.
Transfers can be made online for £5 up to the day before the event; deferrals to another event are available thereafter for £18 if arranged before the event. Entries close 05/06/2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
