The start and finish areas are on gravel. The route is a mixture of grass and tarmac paths. The 10k route is two laps of the 5k course. The course includes inclines and declines just after Mount Pond and a 3k split point where congestion may occur. In poor weather grass and woodland sections can become muddy and slippery.
Access and facilities are provided on site. The event is wheelchair accessible with assistance and the entry point is from The Avenue. Available facilities include refreshments, toilets, bag drop, and spaces for pushchairs. Dogs are allowed. Showers are not available. There is no general event parking and volunteer parking is not provided. Blue Badge parking is not confirmed on site.
