Saturn Love it or Hate it Run - 7 Hour Time Challenge
This is a 7 hour timed running event on a signed loop along a stretch of the River Thames near Staines. The course is mainly well made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section, so road shoes are suitable. Runners may complete as many laps as they choose within the time limit, subject to UK Athletics age rules and event distance limits.
Aid and support are provided at the start/finish of each lap, with a drinks and aid table offering a range of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a marmite themed medal and a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is available. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon distance and above and are attached to the medal ribbon.
Facilities at the venue include toilets, changing rooms and a non-secure bag-drop area. Number pick up is on the day at race registration and final race instructions are sent by email before the event. Headphones are allowed. Runners are asked to be considerate of other public footpath users.
