About the race
Saturn Running's The Flying Fox is a 7-hour time-challenge in Staines-upon-Thames along the River Thames. The course is fully signed and run mostly on well-made paths and tarmac with a short grass section, suitable for road shoes year-round. Distance is flexible: a minimum 3km lap, with full laps around 7km (4.37 miles) or a shorter 3.28-mile option depending on course conditions.
Participants can complete as many laps as time allows, following UK Athletics distance rules. Finisher medals, a goody bag (including vegan options), distance pins for milestones, and an extensive aid table accompany the event.
