Event overview
SATURN TOO - The Nearly But Not Quite London Marathon is a 7 hour timed running event on Sunday, 26 April 2026 at Dare Valley Country Park in Wales. It is organised by Saturn Too Limited, a franchise partner of Saturn Running. The event accepts up to 300 entrants. Entries close 25/04/2026. Entry fees listed are £33 for affiliated runners and £35 for unattached runners. Minimum age for entry is 12 years.
Distances, course and race services
- 3 km minimum distance
- 7 km full lap (listed also as 4.37 miles); loop may change to 3.28 miles
- Half marathon = 3 laps
- Marathon = 6 laps
- Ultra = 7 or more laps
- 50 km option available
The course runs on well maintained footpaths around Dare Valley Country Park with countryside views and is described as suitable for a road trainer. There are 3k and 5k turn points within the lap to meet age-distance rules. Anyone running over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18- and 19-year-olds may run up to 45 km.
Race-day services include an aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap with savoury and sweet snacks and vegan options, a finisher goody bag (including a vegan option), and themed finisher medals for anyone who completes at least 3 km. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances. Toilets and a cafe are available; there are no changing rooms or showers. Free parking is provided. A bag drop is available but is not secure. Bone-conducting headphones only are allowed. Transfers and deferrals are possible for specified fees.
