Beast Of The Blacks

Beast of the Blacks is a three-distance trail challenge set in the Black Mountains of Wales. Starting near Llanbedr Hall, Crickhowell, the event offers 10, 20, and 40 mile routes with elevations of roughly 3,418 ft, 4,553 ft, and 9,106 ft respectively. The course is fully marked and supported by marshals, with generous cut-offs to accommodate elite and beginner runners.

The 40-mile route is a reverse loop of the 20-mile route for varied scenery. The event is canine-friendly (canicross) with dog trophies, plus plentiful checkpoints, vegan-friendly refreshments, camping options, and a full medical team.
