Saturday in the Park Women's 5K
The Jersey Shore Running Club presents the 33rd Annual Saturday in the Park Women's 5K at Thompson Park in Lincroft, NJ. This is the sixth year the event is held at this location. The race benefits organizations that provide shelter, counseling, advocacy and education for women and their families in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Event distances and formats include:
- 5K women's run or walk
- Children's races for boys and girls
Participation is limited to 250 entrants. The event offers women's style shirts for the first 200 registrants and a finishers gift. Strollers are not permitted.
Registration follows a tiered fee schedule: Pre-Registration from 6/1 to 7/26 is $30, Pre-Registration from 7/27 to 8/28 is $35, and Race Day registration is $40. Jersey Shore Running Club members receive a 10% discount. An age-based fee applies for participants under 19 at $25. The children's races list a registration fee of $5.
Packet pick up is available race morning only. The event includes both the main 5K run or walk and separate children’s races for boys and girls. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
