Sasquatch Stomp 5K Trail Run
The 2026 Sasquatch Stomp 5K Trail Run takes place at the Holimont Ski Resort in Ellicottville. The event features a course that traverses wooded trails and mountain paths, offering participants views of the surrounding landscape and mountain air.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K Trail Run (Ages 5 and up)
- Kids Race (Ages 5 and up)
The event is open to both runners and walkers. Participants in the 5K distance receive a race t-shirt, with specific sizing guaranteed for those who register by April 24, 2026. After the event, all racers have access to a post-race gathering featuring tacos.
The proceeds from the event support the development of the Ellicottville Great Valley Trail. This project aims to create a safe, multi-use trail network for cyclists and pedestrians connecting the Village of Ellicottville and the surrounding areas. The course is themed around the legendary Sasquatch, and participants may encounter related decorations or costumed figures along the trails.
