Event Overview
The SARR Turkey Trot is an event on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. It takes place at The Rim Trailhead in San Antonio, Texas.
Distances
The event offers several distances:
- A 4-Miler that is chip-timed and competitive, with awards for top finishers.
- A 2-Miler.
- A Kids Pumpkin Dash, a quarter-mile run for children 10 and under.
- Virtual options for the 4-Miler and 2-Miler, which can be completed between November 27 and December 15.
Registration and Swag
Registration prices are fixed, with no discounts or price increases. The 4-Miler costs $35, the 2-Miler costs $30, and the Kids Run costs $8-$10. All finishers receive a medal. A long-sleeve tee or hoodie is available for those registered for the 4-Miler or 2-Miler, in kids, men's, and women's sizes. Shirts are not guaranteed for late registrations. For virtual participants, race packets are not automatically shipped and require an add-on shipping fee at registration.
Charity
The event's charity partner is Street2Feet, an organization that promotes health with individuals experiencing homelessness in San Antonio through a walking/running 5K training model. A portion of every paid 2-miler or 4-miler registration is donated to this charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
