About the race
The ACTIVATE 5K event takes place in San Antonio on September 20, 2026, at 7400 San Pedro Avenue. The event lists two participation options: a chip timed 5K and a free, untimed entry. Runners, walkers, and strollers are all welcome.
Registration opens August 3, 2026. Registration for the chip timed entry closes September 18, 2026; registration for the free, untimed entry closes September 20, 2026. The listed registration fees are $10.00 for the chip timed entry and $0.00 for the free entry.
Event shirts are limited and will be provided at packet pick up on a first come, first served basis. Finisher medals will be given to the first runners to cross the finish line. Opening ceremonies are scheduled, and the organizer requires that all participants begin the race within the first 10 minutes to help ensure participant safety.
