Event details
The SARR Freedom Day Run is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026, in San Antonio, TX at McAllister Park - Pavilion #2 (13298 Buckhorn Rd, 78247). The event includes in-person and virtual options. Packet pick up is available before race day and there is race day packet pick up at McAllister Park. Refunds are not allowed for this race.

Details for in-person events: the 4-Miler will be chip-timed and will have awards for overall and 5-year age groups; the 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed. Finisher medals are provided. A costume contest and post-race food and refreshments are planned. Shirts in adult and youth sizes are available while supplies last.
Virtual race details: virtual participants may run or walk from any location and submit results online between July 4, 2026 and July 25, 2026. Virtual entries receive a finisher medal and may choose shirt options with limited youth sizes. Packet shipping is available for an extra cost; in-person packet pick up has no extra cost.
Discounts are offered for SARR members, active-duty military, and selected age groups for online registration through specified dates. Awards for the 4-Miler must be picked up on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
