SARR Freedom Day Run
The SARR Freedom Day Run is a July 4, 2026 running event organized by the San Antonio RoadRunners at McAllister Park Pavilion #2 in San Antonio, Texas. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes distance choices for adults and a kids run.

The in-person 4 Mile is chip-timed and has awards for overall finishers and 5-year age groups. The 2 Mile is offered as a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed. All finishers receive a finisher medal. A costume contest in red, white, and blue is planned after the race and there will be post-race food and refreshments. Adult and youth shirts are available while supplies last; youth sizes are limited for virtual entries.
Virtual 4 Mile and 2 Mile options allow participants to run or walk from any location and submit results. Virtual finishers receive a finisher medal and a finisher certificate that can be downloaded after submitting results. Virtual race completion and result submission window runs from July 4, 2026 through July 25, 2026. Packets are not automatically shipped; free pre-race packet pickup is available or shipping can be added at registration for an extra cost.
Registration opens October 9, 2025 and closes June 2, 2026. Refunds are not allowed. Member and age or military discounts apply through June 7, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
