SARR Fiesta Mission Run

Event Overview

The SARR Fiesta Mission Run is the 52nd edition of this event organized by the San Antonio RoadRunners. It is an official Fiesta San Antonio event. The 10K distance is noted as Texas's oldest 10K race.

The event takes place at Mission County Park in San Antonio, Texas. Registration closes on race day at 7:45 AM or when sold out. There is a 4-hour time limit for all events. Runners with leashed pets and strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the start line.

Distances

The in-person event features four distances:

• Half Marathon
• 10K
• 5K
• Kids 1K Fun Run (open to ages 1-10)

Virtual options are also available for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, which can be completed between April 19 and May 15, 2026.

Participant Perks

All in-person 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon participants receive official entry, a timed run with overall and age-group awards, a tech race tee (available in men's, women's, and youth sizing), a 2026 Fiesta medal, and access to a post-race party.

Kids 1K Fun Run registrants receive official entry, a tech tee (youth sizing), a kids run finisher medal, and access to the post-race party.

Half Marathon finishers additionally receive a Mission Run 13.1 hat.

Virtual registrants receive a tech race tee, the 2026 Fiesta medal, a printable pre-race bib, and a printable/shareable finisher certificate. Half Marathon virtual finishers also receive a cap. Packet shipping is not automatic; shipping must be added during registration, or packets can be picked up at no extra charge.

• San Antonio RoadRunners members save 25% on all events except the Kids Run with online registration through March 22, 2026.
• Runners aged 24 or younger and aged 70+ receive a 50% discount on all events except the Kids Run with online registration through the same date.
