About the race
Caudwell Children with Keele University presents the 2026 Santa Dash and Christmas Fayre on 10 December 2026 at the Caudwell International Children's Centre in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire. The event is described as a festive, family friendly occasion that invites participants of all ages to wear Santa, elf, reindeer, snowman or other seasonal costumes and take part in a fun run or walk.
The Santa Dash follows a fully paved and flat 2KM route designed for accessibility. Participants receive a finisher's medal and access to fundraising resources and support. Santa Dash tickets for adults and children are priced at £10.
The accompanying Caudwell Children Christmas Fayre runs at the same venue and is open to attendees who are not taking part in the Santa Dash. The fayre includes a range of Christmas themed activities, music and entertainment. A SEND friendly Santa's Grotto is available as an optional extra at £10 per child, with limited availability to maintain a calmer environment and payment on the day.
Facilities at the venue include disabled toilets and dedicated disabled parking. All fundraising at the event supports Caudwell Children to provide support services and equipment for disabled and neurodivergent children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
