NSCCL round 3 Parkhall Country Park
This event is the third race in the North Staffs Cross Country League, a series of four traditional cross country races in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire. The league uses finishing position to score athletes for both team and individual competitions. Scores from all four races count for seniors; for age groups under 17 the best three of four races count.
Entry is restricted to first claim members of an affiliated club. Guest runners are not permitted. Club colours must be worn by club members while competing. The league separates senior men and women into two divisions; the bottom two teams in Division 1 are relegated to Division 2 and the top two teams in Division 2 are promoted.
Team scoring requirements vary by category. Age is determined for seniors by the athlete’s age on 31 August and for juniors by age at the end of the school year on 31 August 2027. For Under 10s a competitor must be at least 9 on race day or aged 8 and registered with England Athletics.
