Santa Cruz Track Club Cross Country Challenge
The event is a 4.15 miles, two loop cross country race held on the fire roads of the upper UC Santa Cruz campus on August 23, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the open meadow above the UCSC Firestation on Chinquapin Road.
The event is part of the Pacific Association USATF cross country Grand Prix series. Race categories listed include women's, men's masters, and men's open. On race day, registration is located along the fire road above the small parking lot above the Firestation. Online registration opens May 12, 2026 and closes August 22, 2026; the registration fee is $25.00.
Parking is limited at the Crown College parking lot. Additional parking is available at the East Remote parking lot on Hagar Drive, which is just under one mile from the race course. The walk from the additional lot to the race start is uphill and requires extra time. Parking violations are strictly enforced. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
