Race Thru the Redwoods
Race Thru the Redwoods is a community running event in Felton, California, with the venue at Roaring Camp Railroads, 5401 Graham Hill Road. The 10K course runs largely beneath the redwoods in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Local volunteers assist with event operations.
Distances offered include:
- 10K (6.2 miles), mostly under the redwoods of Henry Cowell State Park
- Kids Race (1 mile), two laps
The event fee includes a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Zayante Fire Department. Non-participants may purchase the pancake breakfast for a fee of $10.00. Organizers collect race photos and will compile and share an album after the event.
The event is organized by the Felton Business and Community Association as a community fundraiser. Proceeds support free community events and local traditions in Felton.
