Santa Catch
The Santa Catch is a holiday-themed running event centered at Windsor Lake in Windsor, Colorado. The routes utilize the paths around the lake and the Canal Trail. The event serves as a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization Adopt A Family, which provides support to local families during the holiday season.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 10k chip timed race
- 5k chip timed race
- 1 Mile chip timed Kids Fun Run
Those registered for the 5k and 10k categories receive a custom Santa Catch beanie and a finisher medal. The post-race area features a hot cocoa bar with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic options, along with a wood-burning sauna and a cold plunge station. Top finishers in the overall and age group categories are eligible for prizes.
The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is a timed event for children of all ages. Each young participant receives a race bib and a finisher medal, with the option to include a beanie during the registration process.
