Sandy Claus 5 & 10 Mile Races : Event overview
The event takes place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Nocatee / Ponte Vedra, FL, with the start and finish in the field next to the Nocatee Splash Water Park. This is the seventh annual running of the Sandy Claus races.

Course, logistics and awards
All courses are out-and-back and use the Nocatee Greenway Trails, circling through several local developments within Nocatee. The 5M turnaround is on the walkway before the first vehicle roundabout; the 10M turnaround is on the walkway around Settlers Pond. There are three water stations on course, each passed twice (Mile 1/9, 2.5/7.5, 4/6).
Runner amenities include a custom race shirt, finisher medal for all runners, custom race bib, and post-race food. Runners who register at least two weeks before the race are guaranteed their requested shirt size; later registrants receive shirts as supplies permit. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at the Nocatee YMCA on Saturday, November 30, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, with additional packet, bib, and chip pickup on race day. Overall awards for the 5M and 10M are based on gun time; age-group awards are based on chip time. Age groups use ten-year intervals and masters are listed as over 40. All 1 Mile Fun Run participants receive a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
