Event Overview

The San Juan Trail Tri is a triathlon event consisting of three segments: a 3.5 mile trail run, a 1.5 mile SUP (stand-up paddleboard) paddle, and an 8.25 mile mountain bike (MTB) ride. The course takes place in Ridgway State Park and adjoining Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land in Colorado.

Location

The event starts at the Dallas Creek Day Use Entrance at Ridgway State Park, located one mile south of 28555 Hwy 550 in Ridgway, Colorado.

Event Options

Participants can choose from several entry categories:

  • San Juan Trail Tri Individual Entry for ages 19 and over.
  • San Juan Trail Tri Youth Team Entry for ages 12-18.
  • San Juan Trail Tri Team Entry, open to ages 12-99.
  • San Juan Trail Tri Individual Youth Entry for ages 15-18.
