San Diego Donut Dash
San Diego Donut Dash takes place on October 3, 2026 at Kit Carson Park in Escondido, California. The event combines a timed 5K with shorter novelty races and a post-race festival that highlights donuts from local shops and bakeries.
The 5K includes a donut-themed finisher's medal and a free donut bar at the finish area. The festival at the finish line is described as featuring over 1,000 donuts offered to attendees. Event shirts are optional and available for an additional fee.
The Donut Mile is a one-mile novelty event in which each participant is required to eat four donuts, one per quarter-mile lap. That event is limited to 100 participants and awards a Donut Championship Belt to the first-place finisher. A Kid's Dash is offered on a 400 yard out-and-back course; participating children receive a race bib and a medal.
