San Diego Donut Dash
The San Diego Donut Dash takes place on October 3, 2026, at Kit Carson Park in Escondido, California. The event combines timed runs and a festival atmosphere with food offerings from local donut shops and bakeries.
Race distances and formats include:
- 5K
- Donut Mile : 1 mile, eat four donuts (one donut per quarter-mile lap)
- Kid's Dash : 400 yards, out and back
The 5K features a donut-themed finisher's medal. A free donut bar and a finish-line festival are provided, with the event noting over 1,000 donuts available. Local vendors will offer free donuts to attendees. The Donut Mile is limited to 100 participants; each participant must eat four donuts during the event and the first-place finisher receives a Donut Championship Belt. The Kid's Dash includes a race bib and participation medal.
