San Diego Donut Dash
The San Diego Donut Dash is a donut themed running event held on October 3, 2026 at Kit Carson Park, Bear Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA. The event program includes multiple running options and a finish-line festival.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- Donut Mile (1 mile, competitors eat four donuts)
- Kid's Dash (400 yd out and back)
The 5K includes a donut themed finisher's medal. The finish area features a festival and a free donut bar with over 1,000 donuts available at the finish line. Donut Dash event shirts are optional and sold for an extra fee.
The Donut Mile is limited to 100 participants. Each Donut Mile participant must eat four donuts during the event, one per quarter mile lap. The winner of the Donut Mile receives a Donut Championship Belt.
The Kid's Dash provides a short 400 yard out and back course. Children who participate receive a race bib and a participation medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
