Jakes & Del Mar Lifeguard Association Fun Run/Walk
The event takes place on the beach in front of Jakes at 1660 Coast Blvd in Del Mar, California on 10/17/2026. It features an easy 5K (3.2 miles) run and walk intended for participants of varied ages.
Prizes are awarded to the first place finishers in the Female and Male categories, and additional prizes are given for the Youngest, Oldest, and Stroller finishers. Every finisher receives a commemorative tee shirt, a light lunch, and beverages. A 50/50 raffle is held on site and requires cash participation.
