San Diego 4th of July 5K & 10K (2nd Annual)
This nonprofit running event takes place on July 4, 2026 at 4S Ranch Sports Park, 16118 4S Ranch Parkway, San Diego, CA 92127. The event is presented as the 2nd Annual San Diego 4th of July 5K & 10K and is held in honor of a community member.
Event distances include:
- 10K run/walk
- 5K run/walk
- Kids 1K fun run, ages 4 to 12
- Virtual 5K with mailed medal and shirt for virtual participants
Published registration fees and options are available for each distance. Listed fees include $55 for the 10K, $45 for the in-person 5K and the virtual 5K, $25 for the Kids 1K, and a $40 option to sponsor a flag along the course. The sponsor flag option includes a certificate for the recipient and sponsor recognition at the start and finish lines.
The event supports scholarships for youth sports opportunities and mental health support programs. Onsite offerings noted by the organizer include food service from Chick-fil-A, a beer garden sponsored by Harland Brewing, and raffle giveaways. Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, July 3 at SHAY Realtors, 16611 Dove Canyon Rd., San Diego, CA 92127, between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
