San Diego 4th of July 5k
The San Diego 4th of July 5k is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 4S Ranch Sports Park, 16118 4S Ranch Parkway, San Diego, CA 92127. It is the first annual edition and is organised as a nonprofit event to provide scholarships for children to play sports. The event program includes the following distance options:
- 5 km
- 1 km (Kids Fun Run)
- 5 km (virtual option)
Entry fees listed on the event page are $48.70 (including fees) for the 5k and virtual 5k, and $27.50 (including fees) for the Kids 1K Fun Run. Registration opening dates are shown for March 2026.
Event features and logistics
Packet pick up is scheduled for Thursday, July 3, at SHAY Realtors, 16611 Dove Canyon Rd., San Diego, CA 92127. The event page notes food and beverage arrangements, including In-N-Out Burger serving food and Karl Strauss sponsoring a beer garden. Giveaways and raffle items will be provided by local teams and partners, with sponsors listed such as the San Diego Padres, SD Wave FC, SD Gulls Hockey Club, Orangetheory, UC San Diego and others.
