San Antonio Run Day 5k
San Antonio Run Day 5k takes place on June 5, 2027, at McAllister Park Pavilion #5, 13298 Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247. The event features multiple distances and activities organized around the local running community.
Distances and formats:
- Community 5k Road : out and back on paved park paths.
- Community 5k Trail : 5K course on dirt trails through McAllister Park.
- Kids 1k : a short distance for children; prizes for top male and female finishers.
Registration and fees: registration opens June 9, 2026. Road and trail 5K entries carry a $25 fee; the Kids 1K fee is $10. Groups of five or more receive a $5 discount per runner once the fifth member registers. A group prize is planned for the group with the most participants; a minimum of 20 registrants is required to win that group prize.
Awards and services: prizes will be given to the top male and female overall and masters on both road and trail courses. Age group awards are planned for first and second place male and female in 10 year increments up to 70 plus. All in person participants receive finisher medals. Packet pickup is available at iRun Broadway before race day and at the race site on event day. Post race activities include vendors, music, and community displays.
Beneficiary: Street2Feet is named as the event beneficiary; the organization provides walking and running programs, yoga, nutrition education, and gear to improve accessible wellness for people experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder, or mental health challenges.
