Battle of Leon Creek
The Battle of Leon Creek is the final race in the Alamo Beer Challenge series, held at 6222 UTSA Boulevard in San Antonio, Texas. The course uses sections of the Leon Creek linear parks and paved trails, featuring rolling hills, inclines, and tree covered stretches along the creek bed.
Distances offered include:
- 20 mile
- 13.1 half marathon (21k)
- 10 mile
- 5k
The event provides in person and virtual options for multiple distances, plus walk only and short fun run categories. Entry fees and registration periods vary by distance and by registration date. Age based discounts apply automatically for participants 16 and younger and for participants 70 and older; additional discount codes should not be used with these automatic discounts.
Timing uses chip based results and all age group awards are based on chip time. Awards include first overall male and female, first overall masters male and female, and age group awards through fourth place. The event notes there are no refunds, and that transfers or race changes incur fees that increase closer to race day.
