Event overview
The Battle of Leon Creek is the fourth and final race in the 2026 Alamo Beer Challenge. It takes place on November 14, 2026, at 6222 UTSA Boulevard, San Antonio, TX. The course runs along Leon Creek and uses paved linear-park trails with rolling hills, inclines and tree cover along sections that follow the creek bed.

Registration, prices and options
In-person base prices listed for the event are: 20 mile and half marathon $95.00, 10 mile $55.00, and 5k $40.00. Virtual entry options are offered for those who cannot attend in person. A packet-mailing charge is currently stated as $12 per packet. The event page notes a no-refund policy. Transfers and race-entry changes incur fees: $20 for a change two days before the race and $30 for a transfer the day before. No transfers are allowed after race day.
Competition, awards and rules
Age categories span from 14 and under through 90+. A 50% automatic discount applies to participants 16 and younger and to those 70 and over; additional discount codes should not be used with that discount. Awards include first overall male and female and first overall masters, plus age-group awards for 1st through 4th based on chip time. Bibs contain timing chips and must be worn on the front; walkers should check in at the timing table and declare they are walking the entire race. Runners who do not finish are asked to notify timing staff before leaving.
