Battle of Leon Creek
The race takes place on November 14, 2026, along Leon Creek in San Antonio, Texas. The course uses the city linear park greenway with miles of paved trails that include sun, shade, long flats and small hills. The event is Race 4 of 4 in the Alamo Beer Series Challenge.
Distances offered include:
- 21k, entry fee listed at $99
- 20 mile, entry fee listed at $99
- 10 mile, entry fee listed at $60
- 5k, entry fee listed at $45
- 5k competitive walk, entry fee listed at $45
- 0.05k fun run, entry fee listed at $45
Additional late-entry fees apply as the event date approaches. Packet pickup is available at a local Fleet Feet store and on race morning. Participants should park at UTSA Lot 1 off Bauerle Road; parking in nearby apartment complexes may result in towing.
There are multiple water stops on course and marked turnarounds; runners should follow posted directions to avoid missing turn points. All finishers receive a medal, and participants who complete all four races in the series receive an additional series medal. Awards for 1st through 4th place apply for the 5k, 10 mile, 21k and 20 mile events. Age group categories run from 14 and under to 90 plus, and overall awards include masters and super masters classifications. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
