Battle of Leon Creek - San Antonio
The event is a multi-distance running day held along Leon Creek, part of San Antonio’s linear park trail system. The course uses paved greenway trails that offer sections of sun and shade, long flat stretches and small hills. Organizers note there are multiple water stops on course and participants should watch for directional signs at turnarounds.

- 10 mile
- 5k run
- 5k competitive walk
- .05k fun run
Entry fees vary by distance and increase closer to the event. All finishers receive a medal, and participants who complete all four races in the series receive an additional series medal. Awards are given 1st through 4th for the 5k, 10 mile, 21k and 20 mile events. Age-group divisions cover standard 5-year bands from 14 and under up to 90 and over. Overall and masters awards use Gun Time while age-group awards use Chip Time because starts are run in waves.
Event parking is posted at UTSA Lot 1 off Bauerle Road and UTSA Boulevard; apartment complex parking is reserved for volunteers and vendors and may result in towing. Packet pickup is available the day before at a local Fleet Feet and on race morning starting early. Course maps are provided but subject to change.
