Purpose and details
Sam's Love is a non-profit organization that supplies baby books at no cost to families affected by stillbirth and pregnancy loss. The race is the organization’s third 5K and is held to raise funds to order more books for partner organizations.
All funds raised from the event are intended to support Sam's Love’s mission to improve bereavement care by providing books that families and friends can use to remember and celebrate a child. The organization reports supplying books to more than 25 partner organizations nationwide and is registered as a Louisiana 501(c)(3) non-profit.
