Glory 5K Run/Walk
Glory’s Garden Foundation presents a community running event on March 27, 2027, in Monroe, Louisiana. The event features a main 5K Run/Walk at a venue listed as 2300 Sycamore St., Monroe, LA 71201, and a separate kids course held around Forsythe Park.
The program includes two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run for ages 5 to 12
The 5K registration fee is $25.00 and the kids run has no registration fee. Registration for the 5K opens in February 2027 and closes in March 2027; the kids run has its own registration window in February and March 2027. Each registration creates a personal fundraising page for participants.
Proceeds and fundraising support families who have children in neonatal intensive care units. Funds are directed toward medical expenses, travel, meals, and at-home living expenses to help families stay close to hospitalized infants. The organizer has set a target of 1000 registrations with the intent to assist roughly 200 families.
