Walk Around the Block for Autism
Walk Around the Block for Autism takes place on April 4, 2026, in Monroe, Louisiana, at the Northeast Louisiana State Office Building back parking lot, 24 Accent Drive. The event includes a community expo alongside several run and walk options.

Registration between January 20 and April 4, 2026 is listed at $15 for ages 12 and under and $25 for ages 13 and up. A T-shirt is included with registration if payment is completed by March 7, 2026; that date is a firm cutoff for T-shirt orders.
Packet pickup is scheduled at HAMPCO Inc., 1116 Jackson Street, Monroe, with race day T-shirt pickup and on-site registration available at the race location. The event is not a timed race. Strollers, scooters, and wheelchairs are allowed, and the course passes through the Oregon Trail community.
Awards include first place male and female runner and walker, and recognition for the largest preregistered team. The team that raises the most by April 3 will receive the Ausome Sensory and Safety Trophy Trunk valued over $1,000. Proceeds support underserved families affected by autism through community activities, safety and sensory kits, advocacy, and peer support. There are no refunds and the event will proceed in rain except in extreme weather. AUSOME ability participants may be preregistered free by contacting the organizer.
