Sammy's Hope 5K Run/Walk 2026
Sammy's Hope 5K Run/Walk is a community trail event held at Sayreville Sports Complex in Sayreville, New Jersey. The event offers both a 5 kilometer distance and a 1 mile walk or run. The course is a trail run and is not USATF certified. Dogs are not allowed on the trail during the event.

The event benefits Sammy's Hope Animal Welfare and Adoption Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Sayreville. The organization provides shelter, socialization, medical care, and enrichment for homeless dogs and cats and relies on donations and fundraisers to support its work.
Registration includes options for individual entries and team pricing for groups of five or more. Fees include processing charges and are non refundable. Participants who register in advance may receive a guaranteed T shirt if registered by June 1st and can get a personalized bib if registered three weeks before the event. Live, text, and email results will be available, and finish line photos are provided at no charge.
