Sammy's Hope 5K Run/Walk
Sammy's Hope 5K Run/Walk is a community running and walking event held at Sayreville Sports Complex in Sayreville, NJ. The event offers two distances listed below.
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk
The event is staged on a trail course and dogs are not allowed on the trail during the event. The course is not USATF certified.
Amenities include a guaranteed t-shirt for those registered by June 1st, live online/text/email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations made three weeks in advance. A gift certificate from BarkBox is scheduled to be raffled.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to top fundraising individuals and teams. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race day; participants are expected to know their bib number or use the self lookup area if needed. Registrations made within a short window before bib pickup may receive bib numbers by text.
Virtual participants can upload times and photos during a designated posting window after the event. Live results, same-day finish line pictures, and additional race photos are provided online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
