Sammy's Hope 5K Run/Walk
Sammy's Hope 5K Run/Walk is presented as the 2027 edition of a community running event. A prior edition took place on June 20, 2026 at Sayreville Sports Complex, 4441 Bordentown Ave., Sayreville, NJ. The event is held on trails and dogs are not allowed on the trail during the event.

Awards are noted for the top male and female overall finishers, the top fundraising individual, and the top fundraising team. The event benefits Sammy's Hope Animal Welfare and Adoption Center. The course is not USATF certified.
Bibs are distributed by event staff beginning one hour before the event start time; participants need their bib number to pick up a bib and a self lookup area is available. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, the bib number is provided by text quickly or via online bib lookup.
