Saltire 24, 12 and 6
The Saltire 24, 12 and 6 is a lapped endurance trail running event scheduled for Saturday 20 June to Sunday 21 June 2026 at Knockburn Sports Loch in Royal Deeside, Scotland.
Race options include:
- 24 hour option
- 12 hour option
- 6 hour option
Participants complete repeated laps of a waymarked trail within the Knockburn estate. The lap distance is 4.2 miles. Entrants may compete solo or in teams of two to eight, with the rule that only one team member runs at any time. The minimum age for entry is 18.
Fixed and mobile safety marshals and medics will be located around the course. Limited serviced camping is available for the duration of the event. Peripheral support is provided at the Sports Academy and there is access to the shower block next to the conference centre; shower sides are labeled male and female and are open showers. All event portaloos are gender neutral. The event is described as LGBTQ plus friendly and non binary friendly, and entries accept female, male or non binary as a gender option.
