Salt Lake City Marathon
The Salt Lake City Marathon holds its 23rd annual edition on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This event includes a variety of distances designed to accommodate different ages and preferences:
- Full Marathon (minimum age 14)
- Half Marathon (minimum age 12)
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Kids event (ages 10 and under)
The marathon course begins at the Olympic Legacy Bridge and finishes in the center of downtown Salt Lake City. Along the route, participants experience views of the Wasatch Mountains and pass through several city neighborhoods. The terrain is described as a combination of urban environments and mountain scenery.
All registered participants receive a premium t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a bib with a timing chip. The courses are fully supported with stations to assist runners during their event. Following the races, a festival is held featuring food, beverages, music, and various activities for athletes, friends, and family. Registration fees increase after March 1, 2026.
