The South Davis Thanksgiving Day Races take place in Bountiful, Utah on November 26, 2026. The event features three distances and is organized from the South Davis Recreation Center and adjacent areas.
Packet pick up is available the evening before the race (Wednesday) from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the South Davis Recreation Center, and race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM in the Bountiful Junior High gym attached to the SDRC at 550 North 200 West, Bountiful, Utah. Parking is available in the facility lot, on nearby streets, and at Meadowbrook Elementary as offsite parking.
Course details: the 10K begins at the front of the recreation facility, follows 200 West north to Pages Lane then west, and includes two aid stations; portable stations are not used. The 5K uses a mostly flat loop of right hand turns with one aid station at Porter Lane and Main Street that provides water, Gatorade, and first aid. The 1K runs around the facility from the rear parking lot and returns to that lot; signage and volunteers mark the course. Participants should stay on sidewalks or in bike lanes when possible and use caution near traffic. Facemasks are required at packet pick up and while lining up to start; they may be removed after crossing the start line.
Timing and awards: chip timing is used with results by individual bib chips. Participant items include a gender specific long sleeve technical shirt, finisher medal, bib, post-race drinks and snacks, and sponsor swag. Awards are given to top overall finishers and top finishers in age divisions for all distances; awards can be picked up after the race or mailed on request.
