Salomon Steall Marathon
Steall Marathon is an exhilarating 42km linear mountain race in Salomon Skyline Scotland. The route crosses the Mamores Mountains and traverses the flanks of Ben Nevis, starting in Kinlochleven and finishing at Nevis Range near Fort William, with about 2,200m of ascent. The course features a mix of forestry tracks, rocky mountain trails and dramatic ridgelines such as Stob Choire a’ Chàirn and Sgùrr an Lubhair, and is fully signed, marshalled and runnable for skilled off-road runners.
A 26km support point, GPS tracking and well-stocked aid are provided. Coach transport from Nevis Range to Kinlochleven is included; mandatory kit and a 7pm course closure are in place. Entry around £145, date Sept 20, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
