Salomon Steall Marathon
The Salomon Steall Marathon is a challenging 42km mountain race held in the Scottish Highlands, crossing the Mamores mountain range and skirting the flanks of Ben Nevis. Starting in Kinlochleven and finishing at the Nevis Range near Fort William, the course features steep climbs, technical rocky sections, forestry tracks, and iconic mountain ridges including Stob Choire a Chàirn and Sgùrr an Iubhair. With 2,200m of ascent, the route is designed to be runnable for skilled off-road runners and is fully waymarked and marshalled.
