Salomon Steall Marathon

Steall Marathon is a 42km, 2,200m-ascent mountain race across the Mamores range and the flanks of Ben Nevis, finishing at Nevis Range near Fort William. The route starts in Kinlochleven, climbs An Cumham into Coire na Bà, traverses the Mamores ridge via Stob Choire a’ Chàirn and Sgùrr an Lubhair, then descends to Glen Nevis and climbs again toward Lochan Meall an t-Suidhe before finishing at Nevis Range. The course is fully signed, marshalled and mandatory, featuring a mix of forestry tracks, mountain trails and rocky sections.
