Ben Nevis Race

Ben Nevis Race is an annual hill race in Fort William, Scotland, taking place on the first Saturday in September. The course is an up‑and‑down assault on Britain’s highest mountain, with competitors racing from New Town Park, Claggan, to the summit of Ben Nevis (4409 ft) and back. The event attracts up to 600 entrants and features electronic timing by ProTay and SHR Championship status for 2025.

Runners must belong to a bona fide athletics club and wear a bib for timing; route marshals guide participants between Conservation Corner and the Half Way point.
