Salisbury 10 Mile Road Race
The Salisbury 10 Mile Road Race is the primary annual event organized by the City of Salisbury Athletics and Running Club. The race features a single distance of 10 miles on road surfaces.
The course follows a scenic route north of Salisbury, leading participants along the banks of the River Avon. The path travels through the Woodford Valley, which is characterized by gently undulating terrain. During the return section of the course, runners have views of the Salisbury Cathedral spire.
The event has a capacity of 1050 participants. Registration includes different price tiers for runners affiliated with UK Athletics and those who are not. Participants who enter by February 15th receive a free technical T-shirt. The race provides a transfer system for registered runners who can no longer attend, allowing them to move their entry to another person through an official online portal.
