Event overview

Saint Nick's Run Fest is a charity trail run and ruck held in mid-December 2025 at Lindsey Park in Tyler, Texas. The event uses online registration only. Packet pickup is available on the day before and the day of the event at Lindsey Park. Organizers suggest participants may wear a Santa hat.

Distances and course

The event uses the Lindsey Park Red Loop, a 4-mile single-track dirt trail loop. Distances offered:

  • 7K (one loop)
  • 13K (two loops)
  • 20K (three loops or ruck option)

The course is on dirt trail and is described as somewhat hilly. Aid is provided at the start/finish area and at roughly four-mile intervals, with water, electrolyte fuel (Tailwind), bananas, pretzels, and other salty/savory snacks.

Charity, entry and rewards

A $10 donation is included with each registration; participants choose which of three supported organizations receives their portion. Participants receive a long-sleeve event shirt at packet pickup and a finisher medal. Ruck participants receive a ruck patch. Awards include first- and second-place medals by gender and a last-place recognition for the 20K. Historic mid-December temperatures are noted as averaging about 40-58 degrees Fahrenheit.
