General Information
The US Road Running event at Southside Park in Tyler, Texas, features local running courses for different distance preferences. All participants must register through the online system, as there is no registration available at the venue on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site shortly before the start.
Course Details
The event utilizes out-and-back course layouts within Southside Park. Runners will complete several loops or segments depending on their chosen distance.
- 5K - An out-and-back course measuring 1.55 miles that is completed twice.
- Half Marathon - An out-and-back course measuring 2.18 miles that is completed six times.
Additional Information
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants. Every runner who completes their distance will receive a finisher medal. The organization encourages participant involvement through a best costume competition, and participants can earn points toward a larger race series.
