Tater-Tot Trot takes place on March 14, 2026 in Tyler, Texas at Rose Rudman Park (450 Shiloh Rd.). The event includes multiple options and a mapped 5K course is available. Registration items for the 5K and 1 Mile include an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal.
Distances and options
- Kid's Dash - free 100–200 meter sprint, dashers may buy shirt or medal add-on.
- 5K - timed race with age-group awards.
- 1 Mile - untimed event, finisher medal and participation shirt, no age-group awards.
- Virtual Option - shirt and medal shipped the week of the race.
Registration, awards and volunteers
T-shirt size guarantee requires registration by February 28, 2026. 5K and 1 Mile fees increase after December 31, 2025. Kid's Dash and Virtual registrations remain open through March 14, 2026. Age groups for the 5K are awarded four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters divisions receive platinum medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped; participants should check results at the event to receive awards. Volunteer roles are available; volunteers receive a code for a free race entry after completing assigned tasks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
