SAGE/WAGE 5K Walk/Run for Education
Students Advocating Girls Education (SAGE), in partnership with WAGE International, organizes a 5K walk/run on October 24, 2026 at the Student Center Patio, Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ. The event raises funds to promote education for girls and boys both locally and globally.
Participants may register as individuals and set up their own fundraising pages or teams. The event encourages creative team names, Halloween costumes, and homemade signs. Refreshments and music will be provided, and prizes include gift cards for first, second and third place finishers. Registered participants receive breakfast and a t-shirt.
Suggested donations and registration fees are $5 for students and $25 for others. Donations can be made by cash, online, or by check payable to WAGE International. WAGE International is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
