Event Overview
The SAGE/WAGE 5K Walk/Run is a fundraising event taking place in West Long Branch, New Jersey. It is organized to benefit WAGE International, a nonprofit focused on education and empowering children to help eradicate violence against women. Proceeds support educational opportunities for children locally and globally.
Location and Format
The event is held at Monmouth University on Cedar Avenue. It is a 5K course designed for both walking and running. The event takes place rain or shine. Participants can form teams and create their own signs.
Registration and Fees
There are two main participant registration options.
- General registration has a suggested donation of $20.
- A student-only registration has a suggested donation of $5.
Registration for participants opens on March 5, 2026. Participants who register by April 18 receive a t-shirt. Breakfast is provided for participants. The top three finishers are eligible to receive a gift card.
Additional Opportunities
A separate sponsorship option is available for $200. Sponsors receive promotional benefits, including having their name and logo on the event t-shirt and promotion on social media and other media. The sponsorship deadline is April 13.
