Sabre XXIII Weekend 9

The Weekend 9 trail run is set to take place on Saturday, 18th May 2024, in the Howgill Fells. The event offers three categories: Load Bearing, Runner/Clean Fatigue, and Walker/Unloaded, covering a 25.5km route with 1500m of elevation gain. Participants will follow the original 23 Special Air Service final test route known as "Weekend 9," fully waymarked with no navigation required. Checkpoints along the route are manned by staff, and competitors are expected to be self-sufficient. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st male and female in each category, and participants can enjoy a finishers patch and a post-race pint at the pub.
